Mr. Dombo was the assistant principal at Saint Cloud high school. Unfortunately, after 6 years, his time here has ended. He was given a new opportunity to be the principal at ALCO, The Adult Learning Center of Osceola County.
Mr. Dombo had a major impact in the student body, as well as administrators and teachers. He showed a tremendous amount of school spirit and was very interested in the well-being of everyone at SCHS. He has left a great legacy here, and all the students and staff will be forever grateful for his work and his impact. Bianca Aguilar a student at St. Cloud has said “when in need of advice and assistance. Mr. Dombo was always cooperative and ready to listen”. Clearly, his ability to aid and support students through hardships exemplified the leadership students knew him for.
Mr. Dombo was an administrator who was always willing to help. He coordinated club rush and participated in various pep rallies. He was heavily involved in the PBIS events by choreographing dances, playing in the student vs. teacher games, and much more. Undoubtedly, his concern and involvement in student-led events made him an approachable administrator.
According to Mr. Godfrey “He played a very big role with the start and advancement of the CTE department.” The CTE, computer technology education, program is well known for business and various certification classes. He was instrumental in the start of the Construction program here at SCHS. He was also very supportive of the Auto Tech courses and various courses. Given his passion for industry training, ALCO is a good fit for his future career as an administrator.
Although, the SaintCloud High School family is happy for his success and wishes him well in his future, clearly, he will be missed.
